**Art, Artist and Metamorphosis**

Father, a hawein guitarist and grandfather, a Carnatic musician, the genesis to this talent can be the musically inclined genes in itself. Following up the legacy and shattering the glass ceiling is surely not an easy task. His muse, the spirit of adventure and self-belief surely made him different from his other family members. **From high school to this day.**

‘God of small strings’ as is called by his fans, has bagged around 10 awards including Rock street Journal’s ‘Rock Band of the decade’ (2000-2010). Many winters ago, precisely after 10th grade, his performance at Thrissur temple for ‘Ganamela’ earmarked the beginning of his solo performances alluring a huge mob to the world of music. From his first band, ‘Instinct’ to breaking the chains through ‘Motherjane’ the band, his music has the finest fusion of eastern and western music. His inspirations include Ilayaraja, Raveendran sir and Devarajan sir, reminding us that old is always gold, with much an adoration towards Steve Vai, Jimmy Page, Mattias Ekhuland and Jimi Hendrix from the western world.
His studio albums include Insane Biography, Maktub, By the moonlight and crossover while his solos include Jana Gana Mana, Vande Matharam, Vaishnava Janato, Moham and Mile sur mere tumhare. His ‘Sweet Indian Child O’mine’ an Indie version of a popular American rock band, ‘Guns n Roses’ fetched him fame beyond the precincts of language and culture.
